Fine large example, 8 ½” overall. Hand stitched leather bag with fine turned bone spout of 0.70” inner diameter, large enough to hold balls for Pennsylvania rifles. Original coiled leather stopper attached. See Collector’s Illustrated Encyclopedia of the American Revolution, Neumann, p.227 for other examples, none of which compares to this for quality. Leather with minor wear and padded with fabric to display as full. The best we have seen.
